DIY bath bombs

Many of us love the so-called bath bombs that sizzle and boil when in contact with water, but it’s much easier to make them ourselves. So what is needed for this?

The main ingredients are extremely simple — citric acid, essential oils, and soda.

So how to make a bath bomb? First, let’s take care of the bomb mold. You do not need any special containers — after all, the effect of this “fizzy” does not in any way depend on its shape. So molds are suitable for baking cookies, for ice, for making sweets or even for Easter cakes..

We warn you that the recipes for bath bombs can be very different — do not be afraid to experiment. Here are some examples of what you can do — but, of course, nothing prevents you from coming up with something new. Let’s start with a bomb to help you relax..

It is based on milk and lavender oil. The scent of the latter will help you relax, remove fatigue, and help you cope with insomnia.

So, rub 4 tbsp. tablespoons of soda with 2 tbsp. tablespoons of citric acid. Add 3 tablespoons of milk powder to this mixture. Then add 2 tablespoons of grape seed oil, a spoonful of crushed dried lavender flowers and a spoonful of sea salt. Then add 20 drops of lavender oil, sprinkle with a little water and stir. Attention, if the mixture begins to foam, then the water must be stopped adding. Put your mixture in a mold of your choice, pre-oiled, tamp. After about fifteen minutes, take out the slightly dried bombs — and dry them for another five or six hours outside the mold. Ready!

If, on the contrary, you want to make a bomb, which does not relax, but invigorates, tones up and cheers up — especially on a sleepy morning — then the recipe is the following. Stir in two tablespoons of citric acid, four tablespoons. tablespoons of soda and a spoonful of dry cream. Stir very well. Next, add a spoonful of cinnamon powder and two tablespoons of glycerin. If glycerin is not available, grape seed oil is also great. Then drip an essential oil, whatever. 15-20 drops will be more than enough. Add a spoonful of ground coffee to the resulting mass. Then sprinkle it all with water — but just a little. Now put the mixture in the molds and dry according to the same principle as described above. Coffee cinnamon bombs ready.

Such recipes for bath bombs are used everywhere and for making at home for yourself and for sale in stores. These are excellent corporate gifts for all colleagues. All that remains is to dip them into the water and enjoy the sizzling effect..
